All great paintings begin with a great concept! This 5-day workshop, situated on the spectacular Maine coast, is designed to help student painters at all ability levels learn how to create meaningful and unique art.
Kathy works closely with each student in a process that begins with concept development and the construction of a working thesis. She then shows students how to use that thesis to create a series of paintings that is uniquely meaningful, technically consistent and masterful.
Kathy teaches with warmth, humor, enthusiasm, and insight. In fact, her abilities as an instructor earned her a place in "Who's Who Among America's Teachers.”
As an award-winning artist, she is able to help students develop and improve technique skills in painting as well as concept development. This workshop provides painters in all mediums with the necessary tools required to create great art!
